The Supplemental Curriculum contains both formal and informal assessments along with rubrics that can be used to measure the individual student's success.
The History Alive World History Curriculum contains interactive technology based activities, group tasks and a wide variety of individual tasks that will further enhance the 7th grade World History experience. This grant will greatly assist the Social Science PLC because it has such wonderful assessments already established. Currently, there is some confusion and conflict because the current curriculum is so limited. Teachers are forced to look beyond the text to supplement the material, which means that the common assessments are not accurately affecting the information that is being portrayed in each class. This grant will reduce these conflicts by providing common supplemental material. Although I am currently, the only World History teacher, this has been a problem in the past that could easily be remedied by this grant.
